The Artists’ Society of Phillip Island holds two major exhibitions annually: at Cup Weekend and Easter Weekend. ASPI is also involved in supporting and promoting numerous local galleries and exhibitions.
ASPIR Exhibition Easter 2023
This Exhibition showcases the work of ASPIR members and all works are for sale.
Opening Thursday 6th April at 7pm and then daily from 10am to 5pm until Monday April 10th. Venue is at Newhaven College, 1770 Phillip Island Road, in the Foyer of the Performing Arts Centre.
We are pleased to announce some new initiatives for the Easter Exhibition 2023.
- The Best in Show will be awarded $600 and is sponsored by the Bendigo Community Banks of Cowes, San Remo and Grantville Districts.
- Best Textile or Wearable Art. This includes all Textile Art forms and Wearable Art pieces.
- Best Body of Work award Sponsored by Clay & Co Studio. Karen Morton of Clay &Co Studio would like to offer the opportunity for an artist of any medium to have a solo show in the gallery space of Clay & Co Studio, at 4 Shorland Way, Phillip Island.

Cup Weekend Exhibition

Genres: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Ceramics, Digital Art/Photography and Textile Art.
All financial ASPI members are eligible to enter.
There are a number of prizes, sponsored by businesses and individuals. A $1000 YAC Award (Your Art Collection) for work in any medium is donated by the Bass Coast Shire and includes an invitation to exhibit in the annual YAC Award Exhibition, which attracts an additional $5000 prize for the winning artist.
